A necessary product for hot foil stamping. Counterboard is the most widely utilized product for flat foil stamping, as it has many benefits and is perfect for a variety of applications. This specially designed board is comprised of heat-resistant epoxy and fiberglass and has tremendous strength (withstanding 1 ton of pressure per square inch). Counterboard is used as a solid base for the hot stamping die to apply pressure against while transferring foil. Primarily utilized for medium to fine line foil coverage, counterboard provides consistent solid coverage resulting in clean crisp images. Counterboard is also effective in preventing undesirable "punch" on the backside of the sheet.
