Using GPCâ Block Out Liquid will significantly extend the life of your etch bath. Before etching, cover large open areas on your plate with block out liquid. After etching, these areas can be milled away. Block out liquid can also be used for fine-line touch ups to plates before etching – apply with a paint brush.
